Janmashtami
Event Overview

Join us in celebrating Janmashtami, the joyous occasion marking the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. This vibrant festival brings together the community in devotion, music, dance, and tradition.

Event Highlights:

Abhishekam & Aarti – Participate in the ceremonial bathing of Lord Krishna’s idol, followed by a beautiful aarti and devotional singing (bhajans).

Cultural Performances – Enjoy classical dances, dramatic skits, and traditional songs depicting episodes from Krishna’s life.

Dahi Handi – Watch (or join) the energetic Dahi Handi event where teams form human pyramids to break the symbolic pot of curd, just like Krishna and his friends!

Prasadam & Festive Food – Relish a variety of sattvic vegetarian dishes and sweets prepared with love and devotion.

Kids Activities – Rangoli competitions, Krishna dress-up, flute painting, and storytelling to engage the little ones in divine play.

Midnight Celebration – As Krishna was born at midnight, we will celebrate the divine moment with chanting, bells, and joy.
